Circular cutters are produced in diameters from 5 mm to 200 mm, usually in thicknesses from 0.1 mm to 6 mm, but can also be produced in thicknesses of up to 20 or 30 mm with perfect verticality between outside walls and hole center line guaranteed. The minimum thickness that can be made increases with diameter. The various types of tooth, fine, large, extrafine, spiral and alternate, standardized to ISO/DIN tables or specific customer request can be combined with various tooth shapes as required by the material to be worked and the conditions of use. For particular production requirements, cutters can be provided with keyway or dragging holes. Circular cutters can also be produced for very narrow tolerance ranges and controlled side run-out. The most appropriate type of coating for the material to be worked and the conditions of use can be applied as required.
